Rhianna Basore

The Escape Architect for Corporate Creatives

Rhianna Basore is the go-to voice for media covering one question:

Why do brilliant, high-earning women stay stuck in careers that are slowly draining the life out of them — and what does it actually take to get out?

She is the rare person who can sit across from your audience, describe their reality back to them with uncomfortable precision, and hand them a plan that actually holds up when life gets complicated.

Her clients leave corporate and launch their creative businesses within 6–9 months. That is the conversation she brings to every interview.

SIGNATURE TOPICS

The Golden Cage Why high-earning women cannot seem to leave the careers that are slowly draining them — and why it has nothing to do with courage or confidence.

It Is Not a Money Problem. It Is a Valuing Problem. The real reason corporate creatives keep sabotaging their own exit plans, draining their freedom funds, and introducing their creative work as a side thing. The pattern has a name. Once you name it, you can change it.

Both/And: The False Binary Keeping Brilliant Women Stuck You do not have to choose between financial security and creative fulfillment. But nobody has shown you the spreadsheet that sits next to the vision board. Until now.

Encouragement Is Not a Strategy What high-performing women actually need when they are ready to make a major life transition — and why the coaching industry keeps giving them the wrong thing.

The 6–9 Month Exit: What a Real Corporate-to-Creative Transition Looks Like Not a leap of faith. Not a manifesting practice. A real plan, built for someone with a mortgage, a team that depends on her, and a decade of financial security she is not willing to torch.

PRESS BIO

Short Bio (for show notes and introductions)

Rhianna Basore is an Escape Architect for corporate creatives — the coach who helps high-achieving women leave soul-destroying careers and build financially viable creative businesses, usually within 6–9 months. With 20+ years as a professional actor and director and a decade in nonprofit business development, she works at the rare intersection of creative vision and real financial strategy. She is a Guest Expert Columnist for Backstage Magazine and the founder of Self Trust Fund.

Long Bio (for press features and event programs)

Rhianna Basore spent over two decades building an international career as a professional actor, director, and producer — taking the stage from Off-Broadway to Paris to the Reykjavik Fringe Festival while simultaneously navigating the financial reality that most creative professionals are never taught to manage.

That tension between creative calling and financial security became the foundation of her coaching work.

Today, Rhianna works with high-achieving corporate women who have built impressive careers, earn real money, and are quietly suffocating inside a life that rewards their capability but ignores their calling. Through Self Trust Fund, she helps them build the real exit strategy — with actual numbers, a real timeline, and a plan built for someone with something to lose.

Her clients transition from corporate to their creative businesses within 6–9 months. Not because they finally got brave enough. Because they finally had a roadmap built for someone at their level.

Rhianna holds an NYU BFA in Drama and has spent over a decade in nonprofit business development and finance. She is a Guest Expert Columnist for Backstage Magazine and founder of Miz. Understood Media.
